Parent Teachers' Association

The PTA is committed to supporting the Headteacher and staff at Frogmore Community College maintain and improve the quality of the education offered to its students. This section tells you about Frogmore's PTA and how together we can help to enrich the learning experience of our children.

What is the PTA?

All parents and carers of students at Frogmore are automatically members of the PTA and are encouraged to participate in its activities   The PTA was formed in 1975 at the same time the College was opened.  It exists to bring together parents and carers, staff, students and other members of the community.

What does the PTA do?

• Raises money to provide facilities which are needed by the College.
• Organises fun activities for students, parents and carers and staff.
• Sells refreshments at College events
• The PTA Shop sells Uniform, PE Kit and stationery items.  It is open every Tuesday from 8.30am to 9.15am.  The Shop is located in F1 (near the entrance to the Community and Adult Education Reception).  Alternatively, here is a link to the Order Form  which can be completed and left with payment  at Reception, you will then be contacted when the items are ready for collection.

What has the PTA done recently ?

We've raised funds by:

• Organising fun events and activities
• Selling PTA annual draw tickets.
• Holding quiz evenings.
• A sponsored walk
• Car rally

We've put this money to good use by:

• Supporting the students providing corporate aprons for technology.
• Providing Plasma TV's for Treloar and the dinning room.
• Raising money for a new oven for technology.
• Payment for the new video cameras
• Supporting the School's mini bus

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

Most importantly by supporting our fundraising activities.  But also, if you have any ideas for fundraising, a particular expertise you could offer or would like to help out with a PTA event or take part in committee meetings, then please contact any committee member via College Reception:-
